Our team members have been key players in some of broadcasting’s most notable live productions. However, we identified a growing and critical need for innovation and simplification in the industry. Vista Studios is the only studio in Los Angeles designed, built, and optimized for producing shows with future-forward content creators. Clients like Apple, Discovery, Facebook, and HBO are testing the boundaries of live production, and only Vista Studios can make such industry-advancing ideas a reality.
The only thing that’s classic about Vista Studios is our location–Playa Vista, California. Before it became the neighborhood at the center of Silicon Beach, much of the land belonged to Howard Hughes, where he built massive aircraft hangars and the world’s longest private runway. Hughes eventually abandoned this land, but not before he constructed and flew the infamous Spruce Goose. After Hughes moved out, Hollywood and the tech industry moved in. The Spruce Goose hangar became a soundstage used for big blockbuster films. Parts of Ironman, Titanic, and Avatar were all filmed within the bounds of Playa Vista. Now, our vibrant neighborhood is home to tech giants such as Google, Facebook, YouTube, Microsoft, EA Sports, Belkin, and Yahoo, to name a few.
You’ll find us less than 5 miles from LAX, just off the 405 in the heart of Silicon Beach. Our neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, and we’re surrounded by amenities that will make your crew and talent feel at home.
